Teesport is a deep-water port located in Middlesbrough, on the north bank of the River Tees in North East England. The port has 17 berths and handles over 50 million tonnes of cargo each year. It is the third largest port in the United Kingdom by tonnage.
With its new rail links for container transport to both Scotland and South Yorkshire being invested in – the potential for northern businesses to choose Teesport as their centre of operations for freight forwarding has never been bigger. Finally, there can be more choice for importing and exporting goods to and from the North of England than just the Humber and Liverpool Ports with a heightened and vibrant Teesport taking shape!
